Delta Packaging makes donations to the German Childhood Cancer Foundation

“We will donate this amount”, was the spontaneous message by Reinhard Mitzkus, the Managing Director of Delta Packaging GmbH, when he received the award and the cheque during the SCA Drive / Direct Regional Performance Awards.

No sooner said than done - Dieter Winands, Head of Sales at Delta Packaging, presented this cheque to Mr Jens Cort, the Managing Director of the German Childhood Cancer Foundation in Bonn. It was a moment of great joy, and Jens Cort said: “The average donation for our foundation is around 30 Euro. We are pleased to receive such generous donations, especially from companies.”

The German Childhood Cancer Foundation is committed to ensuring that children with cancer can recover and that their quality of life and their future prospects are not inferior to those of other children. To support affected families with competent advice and information is one of their many tasks, as well as the support of social funding during financial hardship. The German Childhood Cancer Foundation supports and finances clinically and patient-oriented research projects. The aim is to improve chances of recovery, ensure safe treatments, find new therapy approaches and to reduce long-term effects or to eliminate these entirely.

Delta Packaging agrees: “As a company, we are happy to be able to make a small contribution with this donation, so that help can also be provided to seriously ill children, and that new prospects can be opened up to them. The future lies in our children - this is the right approach.”
